Maegan Ruiz reports:
"I was accepted into the Researcher Development Program (RDP) 2023-24 cohort, which is a joint program between the UCEA Graduate Student Council (GSC) and the AERA Leadership for School Improvement Special Interest Group (LSI SIG). The Researcher Development Program is an initiative aimed at providing graduate students with research-focused mentorship and networking opportunities with faculty members outside their institution, and I have been paired with Dr. Jose Eos Trinidad, an Assistant Professor in the Policy, Politics, and Leadership cluster of the University of California Berkeley School of Education. The program aims to facilitate the development of ongoing collaborative research projects and networks of support, and I am thrilled to be able to collaborate with Dr. Trinidad on a series of studies of educator resilience. We will hopefully be presenting on these studies at the 2024 UCEA Convention (November 21-24, 2024 in Los Angeles, CA)."
