Cindy Brantmeier was selected to be the 2019-20 Merle E Simmons Distinguished Alumna, Indiana University, Department of Spanish and Portuguese. Professor Brantmeier will be giving the opening plenary address at IU this fall, 2019, to faculty and students from the Social Sciences, Humanities, and visiting alumni.
