Congratulations to Le’Aysha Pearson who was the student speaker at the John M. Olin Library Transformation Dedication on Tuesday, May 1.

Le’Aysha Pearson (class of 2019) is majoring in Elementary Teacher Education and African and African-American Studies. She was selected as the only student speaker for the John M. Olin Library Transformation Dedication ceremony on Tuesday, May 1. The speakers for the Dedication ceremony included Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton; Craig D. Schnuck, Chair of the Washington University Board of Trustees; Denise Stevens, Vice Provost and University Librarian; Jack Thomas, Trustee and Chair of the University Libraries National Council; Andy Newman, Emeritus Trustee and Chair of the Buildings and Grounds Committee; and Professor Peter Kastor, Chair of the Department of History and Former Chair of the Faculty Library Committee.
